Ειδικότερα στο 9μηνο του 14 πουλήθηκαν 135,600 οχήματα σε όλο τον κόσμο, 13% περισσότερο από ό, τι κατά τους πρώτους εννέα μήνες του προηγούμενου έτους. Τον Σεπτέμβριο παρέδωσε συνολικά 15.800 νέα αυτοκίνητα, 22% αύξηση σε σύγκριση με τον ίδιο μήνα πέρυσι. Στην κορυφή παραμένει το Cayenne. Η Κίνα εμφανίζει ποσοστιαία την μεγαλύτερη άνοδο. Στις ΗΠΑ ξεκίνησε η διάθεση του νέου MACAN ενώ η αναμενόμενη είσοδο της 918 Spyder (ειδική κατηγορία) θα ενισχύσει ακόμη περισσότερο της πωλήσεις.
So far, the sports car maker Porsche has delivered 135,600 vehicles to customers worldwide in 2014, thus 13 per cent more than in the first nine months of the previous year. In the reporting month of September, Porsche AG handed over to customers a total of 15,800 new cars and achieved an 22 per cent growth in comparison to the same month last year.
“In September, we carried forward our growth strategy across the globe,” said Bernhard Maier, Member of the Executive Board Sales and Marketing of Porsche AG. “With the Cayenne S E-Hybrid currently showcased at the Paris Motor Show, Porsche is now offering three sporty alternatives with plug-in hybrid drive in the premium segment and continues to build out its innovation leadership in this segment.”
On the Chinese market, Porsche boasted of 32,600 deliveries to customers in the last few months. This was an 19 per cent increase compared to the period from January to September 2013. In Europe, last year’s figure was surpassed by 15 per cent: The Stuttgart-based sports car maker handed over 43,300 vehicles to customers. On the home market of Germany as well, Porsche posted two-digit growth figures and realised a gain of twelve per cent with 17,800 new car deliveries.
So far this year, the Porsche model most in demand worldwide was the Cayenne: more than 51,000 sporty SUVs were handed over to our customers all over the world. 18,700 cars of the Gran Turismo Panamera were delivered by Porsche. With 22,900 models of the 911 sold, the sports car icon also outdid last year’s figure.
Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (PCNA), importer and distributor in the United States of the Porsche 918 Spyder, 911, Boxster, and Cayman sports cars, Macan and Cayenne SUVs, and the Panamera four-door sports sedan line-up, today announced September 2014 sales of 3,607 vehicles. So far in 2014, PCNA has delivered 35,366 vehicles in the U.S., an increase of 12.1 percent over the same time period last year (31,549).
In September, there were 726 deliveries of 911 sports cars, which is a 19.2 percent increase over last year’s September sales. Demand for the sporty Macan continues to outpace supply with September sales of 702 units. Cayenne sales of 1,196 units remained strong, ahead of the introduction of the comprehensively revised 2015 model. Panamera had 450 units delivered, with an 11.3 percent year to date increase over 2013. The limited edition 918 Spyder super sports car continues to be delivered to the first U.S. customers.
